Comparisons — Resume & Career Articles
Head-to-head comparisons of resume builders and the alternatives to them, including where CraftMyDocs wins and where a competitor is the better pick for your situation.
How we compare
Every comparison is written by using each product for the same task: importing a resume, building one from scratch in a chosen template, running the export, and checking what the free tier really allows. We list the criteria at the top of the piece, score each product against them, and say plainly where CraftMyDocs loses. No product pays to appear or to be ranked, and there are no affiliate links — the Advertising & Editorial Disclosure in the footer sets this out.
What we look for
Whether the free plan is genuinely usable, whether exported PDFs pass an ATS parse without a paid upgrade, how templates handle long or short content, the quality of any AI writing help, pricing transparency, and what happens to your data. Comparisons are dated and revisited when a product changes its plans or pricing.
