Subscription Terms

These Subscription Terms describe how CraftMyDocs plans, billing, renewals, and cancellations work. They form part of our Terms of Service.

1. Plans

  • Free — unlimited resumes and cover letters, standard ATS templates, plain-text (TXT) download, the PDF and LinkedIn resume importers, and 20 bonus AI credits on signup. No payment required. The Free plan does not include the ATS Resume Checker, PDF/DOCX export, the AI PDF tools, or the full AI generators.
  • Pro (subscription) — adds PDF and DOCX export, all premium templates, the ATS Resume Checker (every scan, with or without a job description), the cover-letter builder, the AI PDF tools, advanced AI rewriting, and a monthly allowance of AI credits. Billed on a recurring basis as shown at checkout.
  • AI credit packs (one-time) — optional one-time purchases that add AI credits to your balance. They do not renew and do not change your plan.

The plans, prices, billing intervals and currencies actually available to you are the ones shown on the Pricing page at the time of purchase.

2. Billing & Auto-Renewal

Subscription plans automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly, as shown on the Pricing page) until you cancel. Some plans include an introductory price for an initial period, after which the plan renews at the standard renewal price shown at checkout — both the introductory and renewal prices, and the billing interval, are disclosed before you complete payment.

One-time AI credit packs are billed once and do not renew or recur.

3. Currency & Taxes

Prices are displayed in your local currency where supported (e.g. INR or USD) based on your location.

India. Prices shown in INR are inclusive of 18% GST. No tax is added at checkout — the amount displayed is the amount charged — and a GST invoice showing the taxable value and the CGST/SGST breakdown is issued for each payment.

Outside India. Displayed prices exclude VAT and sales tax. Any applicable tax is calculated from your billing address and local law by Paddle.com, acting as Merchant of Record, and is shown at checkout before you confirm payment.

4. Payment Processing

Payments are processed by our payment provider(s) (which may include Paddle.com, acting as the Merchant of Record, and/or Razorpay). The payment provider may appear as the seller of record on your payment statement and is responsible for invoicing, tax collection/remittance where applicable, and processing refunds in accordance with our Refund Policy.

5. How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time:

Cancelling stops future renewals — you keep Pro access until the end of the period you've already paid for. We do not prorate or refund the unused portion of the current period, except as described in our Refund Policy.

6. What Happens When You Cancel or a Renewal Fails

At the end of your current billing period (or if a renewal payment fails and is not retried successfully), your account reverts to the Free plan. Your resumes, cover letters, and account data are not deleted — only Pro-only features (PDF/DOCX export, premium templates, the ATS Resume Checker, cover-letter builder, advanced AI) become unavailable until you resubscribe.

7. Plan Changes

You can upgrade from Free to Pro at any time via the Pricing page. If you switch between subscription plans, the new billing terms (price, interval) are shown and confirmed before the change takes effect.
