Frequently asked questions
Why does my photo look fine on my phone but sideways when uploaded?
Cameras often store the image sideways and add an EXIF orientation tag telling viewers to rotate it. Galleries obey the tag; many web forms, PDF tools and older applications ignore it. Rotating here bakes the correct orientation into the pixels and drops the tag, so every application agrees.
Can I rotate by an arbitrary angle to straighten a crooked photo?

Will rotating lower the quality?
