Advertising & Editorial Disclosure

CraftMyDocs is a free-to-use resume, cover-letter and PDF toolkit. This page explains how the service is funded, where advertising appears, how our guides and comparisons are written, and the lines we do not cross. We publish it so that you can judge for yourself whether what you read here is trustworthy.

1. How CraftMyDocs Makes Money

We have two sources of revenue, and only two:

• Paid plans. Premium and Lifetime subscribers pay for PDF/DOCX export, the full template library, the cover-letter builder and advanced AI features. See Pricing and the Subscription Terms.
• Display advertising. Google AdSense serves ads on our long-form editorial pages — blog articles and job-title resume guides. Ads never appear inside the resume builder, the PDF tools, template previews, your dashboard, pricing or checkout.

2. Where Ads Appear and How to Recognise Them

Ad units are placed in fixed positions within articles and guides, are clearly separated from the surrounding text, and carry Google's standard "Ad" or "Sponsored" label. We do not style ads to look like editorial content, buttons, navigation or download links, and we do not ask you to click them. Ads are chosen and served by Google, not by us; we do not select the advertisers, and an advertiser's appearance on a page is not an endorsement.

Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other sites. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland this only happens after you consent. You can review or change your choice at any time via Cookie Preferences, and you can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. 3. No Affiliate Links, Sponsored Posts or Paid Placements

CraftMyDocs does not participate in affiliate programmes. We do not earn a commission when you click a link to another product or sign up for another service, we do not accept payment to publish, rank or recommend a product, and no article on this site is sponsored. If that ever changes, the affected page will say so plainly at the top, and this page will be updated the same day.

4. How Our Guides and Comparisons Are Produced

Our resume, cover-letter and career guides are written and reviewed by people on the CraftMyDocs team who work on the product every day. When we compare resume builders — including our own — the criteria are stated in the article, the comparison is based on using each product, and we say where CraftMyDocs falls short as well as where it is stronger. Competitors are not charged to appear and cannot pay to be removed.

Job-title resume guides (/resume/roles) are built from a structured skills and responsibilities dataset that we maintain, with role-specific wording, example summaries and FAQs written for each title. Where a page shows an estimated salary range, the basis (role-specific or industry-wide), region, currency and review date are stated next to the figures; ranges are estimates, not offers, and actual pay varies by employer and location.

We use AI tools in our own product and, at times, to help draft or check editorial content. Every published page is reviewed by a person before it goes live, and we correct errors when they are reported. To report an error, email support@craftmydocs.com.

5. Free vs Paid Features

Anything labelled "Free" on this site is free to use without a card. Features that require a plan are marked as such before you reach them, and the Pricing page lists exactly what each tier includes. We do not use "free" to mean "free trial".
