PDF to PowerPoint — online tool, included with Pro
Convert a PDF deck back into an editable PowerPoint presentation (PPTX). Each PDF page becomes a slide with its text, images and shapes placed as editable objects, so you can update a slide, change a colour or reuse a diagram without rebuilding the presentation from scratch. This conversion runs on our servers, so it needs a signed-in account with an active plan; your file is processed once, and the converted file is kept for up to an hour so you can download it, then deleted automatically. Best results come from decks that were originally exported from PowerPoint, Keynote or Google Slides.
PDF to PowerPoint runs on our secure servers and is included with a CraftMyDocs Pro plan. Uploaded files are deleted automatically after processing.

- Text comes through as editable text boxes rather than flattened images
- Images and vector shapes are placed at their original positions
- Opens in PowerPoint, Keynote and Google Slides
- Server-side processing with automatic deletion afterwards

Frequently asked questions
Will animations and speaker notes be recovered?
No. A PDF stores only what was printed, so animations, transitions and notes were never in the file. You get the visible slide content as editable objects; add notes and motion again in PowerPoint.
What about slides that are mostly one big image?
The image is placed on the slide as an image, which is what it was. Text inside the image is not editable; if the original deck used pictures of text, run OCR on the PDF to recover the words.
Do fonts match the original?
Fonts embedded in the PDF are mapped to the closest installed font when you open the PPTX. Standard fonts match exactly; brand fonts you have installed locally are used if PowerPoint finds them, otherwise it substitutes.
Is there a slide limit?
No fixed slide count, but very long decks take longer to convert. Splitting a 200-page PDF into two with Split PDF halves the wait and keeps each file easier to work with afterwards.
