How we approach ATS compatibility

Most resumes are read by an Applicant Tracking System before a person sees them, and the usual advice — "use a simple template" — is too vague to act on. Every template here uses a single readable content flow, standard section headings, and typography that parses cleanly, so your experience survives the machine step. That is a property of the layout rather than something you have to manage while writing.

What we don’t do

We don’t scrape LinkedIn or any other site. If you want to start from your LinkedIn profile, you export it as a PDF using LinkedIn’s own “Save to PDF” option and upload that file — the same importer that reads any other PDF or DOCX resume. We also don’t make you sign up before you can see whether the product works: building, editing, customising and importing are free and need no account.

Your content stays yours

Your resume content and the template you picked are stored separately, so switching designs never rewrites a word you wrote. Drafts are saved in your browser as you type, which means the builder keeps working if your connection drops. What we store, and for how long, is set out in the privacy policy.
