Subscription Terms

These Subscription Terms describe how CraftMyDocs plans, billing, renewals, and cancellations work. They form part of our Terms of Service.

1. Plans

  • Free — unlimited resumes, basic templates, TXT export, basic ATS checker, and basic AI features. No payment required.
  • Premium (subscription) — adds PDF and DOCX export, access to all templates, the cover-letter builder, and advanced AI rewriting. Billed on a recurring basis as shown at checkout.
  • Lifetime (one-time payment) — includes everything in Premium, with no watermarks, for as long as the Service is offered, for a single one-time payment.

2. Billing & Auto-Renewal

Subscription plans automatically renew at the end of each billing period (e.g. every 4 weeks, monthly, or yearly, as shown on the Pricing page) until you cancel. Some plans include an introductory price for an initial period, after which the plan renews at the standard renewal price shown at checkout — both the introductory and renewal prices, and the billing interval, are disclosed before you complete payment.

Lifetime plans are billed once and do not renew or recur.

3. Currency & Taxes

Prices are displayed in your local currency where supported (e.g. INR or USD) based on your location. Applicable taxes (such as VAT/GST/sales tax) may be added at checkout depending on your billing address and local law, and will be shown before you confirm payment.

4. Payment Processing

Payments are processed by our payment provider(s) (which may include Paddle.com, acting as the Merchant of Record, and/or Razorpay). The payment provider may appear as the seller of record on your payment statement and is responsible for invoicing, tax collection/remittance where applicable, and processing refunds in accordance with our Refund Policy.

5. How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time:

Cancelling stops future renewals — you keep Premium access until the end of the period you've already paid for. We do not prorate or refund the unused portion of the current period, except as described in our Refund Policy.

6. What Happens When You Cancel or a Renewal Fails

At the end of your current billing period (or if a renewal payment fails and is not retried successfully), your account reverts to the Free plan. Your resumes, cover letters, and account data are not deleted — only Premium-only features (PDF/DOCX export, premium templates, cover-letter builder, advanced AI) become unavailable until you resubscribe.

7. Plan Changes

You can upgrade from Free to Premium/Lifetime at any time via the Pricing page. If you switch between subscription plans, the new billing terms (price, interval) are shown and confirmed before the change takes effect.
